Focaccia al pomodoro is an excellent focaccia sprinkled on the surface with tomato, oil, and salt. The taste is somewhat reminiscent of pizza, but with the typical consistency of focaccia. Tomato focaccia is excellent eaten on its own, but also filled with slices of cheeses and cured meats, or appetizers in oil, such as peppers, aubergines or courgettes. Served in squares it is also excellent as an aperitif or appetizer.
How to prepare
Heat in oven at 180/200° for about 5/6 minutes.
Remilled durum wheat semolina, water, extra virgin olive oil, salt, yeast, emulsifier (soy lecithin), preservative (potassium sorbate), sunflower oil. Topping: tomato sauce.
